Camp GROW - About Camp Grow

The Green River Outreach for Wilderness (GROW) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in the spring of 2009 by a group of like-minded people sharing a passion for wilderness and a compelling desire to introduce others to wild places. GROW’s primary focus is to offer children the opportunity to discover nature, through fun activities so, they might wonder at the endless bounty and balance surrounding them. Through this connection to nature kids will gain self-confidence and make better decisions throughout their lives.
GROW operates from its base on the Mountain Springs Ranch; a pristine 857 acre property in the foothills of the Wind River Range just outside of Boulder, Wyoming. The ranch adjoins federal lands which lead into the heart of the Jim Bridger Wilderness, in the Bridger Teton National Forest.

Mountain Springs is also home to many species of wildlife including; Elk, Moose, Deer, Pronghorns, Beaver, Otter and more. Not to mention our five trout ponds! More than 250 acres of the ranch was placed under a conservation easement in the fall of 2009, with the Wyoming Land Trust and the plans have been made to conserve the remainder of the property in the near future. This substantial amount of unspoiled terrain will ensure the natural wildness of this special area for generations to come!

We are very excited about our summer plans for 2012! We will have longer and more diverse sessions for parents and families to choose from.
